Moor Harmony

Read below for a current update ... …

Moor Harmony have come through the pandemic pretty much un-scathed so far. Whilst a number of small choirs have folded, we maintain a solid core membership and, with this in mind, from 2022 will pretty much be a re-group and assess capabilities type of year. Plans for larger scale works have gone out the window but we will be exploring past and new repertoire to see what we are still capable of as a small chamber choir; indeed possibly get in some expert tuition to help us out. Whilst we cannot plan too far ahead at this stage, I would certainly like to think that Christmas 2023 will be happening as it did in 2022. In the meantime, plans are afoot for celebrating out 25th anniversary in 2024.

As ever, we remain open to new members who might try to try the Moor Harmony way of doing it ..... moorharmony@gmail.com Our 2020 recording for "Christmas Offering" can be found by clicking below ...Merry Christmas ...

MOOR THEORY - a music theory course. The syllabus closely follows that of the ABRSM and is marked internally to a similar standard using genuine past papers. Grades I to III are currently available and students must pass each grade before progressing to the next level. The course is open to all members free of charge. Non-members are welcome to take the course - contact Jeremy for more information.
